For new and current clients

Everything you need before and after your appointment: the client portal, billing, secure uploads, and telehealth help.

Before your first appointment

  • Watch for an invitation to our client portal. We use SimplePractice to keep your information protected. How to sign in
  • Complete your documents at least 3 business days before your appointment. Anything still needed shows on the portal's Documents tab.
  • Upload your insurance information, or send it through our secure file upload. If it isn't on file and a claim goes unpaid, the balance becomes your responsibility.
  • Bring a government-issued photo ID.
  • For school-age evaluations, have 2 or 3 educators' email addresses ready.

Billing

Pay by card in the client portal. How billing in the portal works. Any outstanding balance must be paid before an evaluation report is released. Uninsured or paying yourself? Ask us for a Good Faith Estimate.

Telehealth

Appointments use a HIPAA-compliant video system. Your reminder includes a link that's unique to you and your appointment time, so keep it private. On a desktop or laptop the link is all you need. On a phone or tablet, install the SimplePractice app (the butterfly logo) first. You can open the link early to test your connection.

Trouble connecting? Try these device and browser fixes, then call (808) 488-9288 if you still can't get in. Your clinician may call you.

Reminders and cancellations

You can opt in to email or text reminders when you complete your documents. We charge for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment. To cancel or reschedule, call (808) 488-9288 and follow the prompts to leave a message, and we'll pass it on to your clinician.

Our secure forms protect what you send. Any email reply from us is not secure, so we won't include personal health information in it.
